Eli P. Hershberger was born in Charm, Holmes County, Ohio on December 13, 1851. My father, Walter Logan Fry, located the farm and farm cemetery; which he lovingly cleaned up. The name appears in the stone mantel over the stairs to the basement of the farmhouse. Eli Hershberger married Sarah Rebecca Stahl, the daughter of Levi and Mary Stahl, on November 21, 1875.
