  Similar objects can be found in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, New York. Some have the rattles made of plastic, while the one below uses nut shells, like the one in the Fry collection.

  An object with a similar form is also found in the Stichting Nationaal Museum van Wereldculturen, Rotterdam, Inventarisnummer : RV-2211-288. Both are made of a gourd, cotton string and nut shells; and like the Fry idiophone, the idiophone in the Stichting Nationaal Museum has a long "rat tail" for shaking the rattle.
