The "Brain Scan Movies" consist of a 120+ image sequence of an MRI brain scans conducted at the Wisconsin Psychiatric Institute and Clinics, University of Wisconsin, Madison. W. Logan Fry was one of the control subjects for the research protocol titled: "Non-Invasive Brain Imaging Techniques that Predict Antidepressant Responsiveness and Provide Insights into the Mechanism of Action of Venlafaxine ER vs. Flouxetine," IRB Protocol No. 2001-294.

Logan relates that his purpose was to obtain images of his brain to use in art projects, including weaving and film. In order to bring music the the film that he produced, Logan collaborated with world composers and musicians from the USA, Canada, Argentina and Poland. In this gallery is the work of Jeremy Hight and Cezary Ostrowski.
